Sarah’s practice largely consists of representing executives and acting for under represented individuals with their workplace issues. Her background in personal injury law allows her offer great empathy to her clients and provide them practical, honest advice. Sarah’s practice focuses on human rights complaints, severance reviews and negotiation.
Experience
Sarah began her legal career in the areas of family and criminal law, and upon moving to Calgary, she seized an opportunity to transition into the area of personal injury law by joining a prevalent law firm who exclusively practices in this field. In her practice, she was able to represent clients at various stages of their legal claim and further developed her experience in civil litigation, by honing her legal analysis skills and client-facing abilities. To date, Sarah has been able to best represent her clients by combining her legal knowledge with a strong sense of empathy, guiding clients through complex legal processes to help them reach fair resolutions in difficult circumstances.
Credentials
Sarah attended the University of Manitoba where, after completing her Bachelor of Arts Humanities, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree. Throughout her law school journey, Sarah was able to materialize her commitment to creating a positive social impact through extensive volunteer work. She worked with organizations supporting Winnipeg’s low-income communities, offering pro-bono assistance in the areas of criminal and refugee law both in English and French. One of the highlights of her law school experience was being selected to represent the Robson Hall Faculty of Law in the Bastarache Moot which deepened her understanding of access to justice in Canada and enabled her to further find her voice within the legal field.
Get to know Sarah
Sarah was born in Bulgaria and was raised in Montreal, Quebec. She is fluent in English, French and Bulgarian. Outside of work, Sarah really enjoys photography, interior design and abstract art. She has a thorough passion for experimenting with new recipes and different cuisines in the kitchen. Most of all, Sarah loves spending time with her family and her two cats.
