Why Cashion Legal created this scholarship
We need our brightest mind to push the boundaries of the workplace
Cashion Legal was built on the idea that employment law works best when it is understood by both sides of the relationship. Employers and employees often find themselves at odds because the law is complicated, which creates barriers for cooperation between employers and employees.
This scholarship exists to support the next generation of people working to change that. Whether a student is heading toward a legal career, human resources, labour relations, or workplace policy, the goal is the same: fewer disputes rooted in misunderstanding, and more workplaces built on clear expectations from the start.
Canada broadly relies on strong local talent to keep that understanding alive, in law firms, in HR departments, and in the organizations that support workers and employers alike. This scholarship is one way Cashion Legal invests in that talent early, before a career even begins.
