What You’ll Do
The majority of our work is litigation, but you will be involved in a wide range of legal matters including reviewing severance offers, wrongful dismissals, constructive dismissals, termination for cause, non-competition litigation, shareholder litigation, contract writing and review, human rights issues in the workplace, and other litigation matters.
Who You Are
- 1-5 years of litigation experience
- Passionate about, and fascinated by, the law, including a desire to improve and hone your legal skills
- A creative problem solver with a positive and helpful attitude and excellent people skills
- A collaborative attitude with the willingness to work with others to build winning strategies for our clients
- Committed to personal growth and continuous improvement
- You consider yourself a fast learner and love to develop and perfect new skills
- Dedication to providing efficient and effective service for our clients
- Practical business instincts on billable targets and the business of law
- Have a J.D. or LL.B from a recognized Canadian or International institution
- Are an active member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
